This series 52 flipbooks presents a fictional history of modern letterforms. These analog animations trace the historical facts of each letterform’s evolution, filling in the gaps with speculatively blended typography. The books are showcased together in a letterpress case.

A factual timeline of the same evolution is presented as a large-format accordion book.
